Horizon Europe Bid Writing

Horizon Europe is the biggest ever EU research and innovation programme, with over €95 billion of funding available over the next 7 years (2021 to 2027). It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market. And as the UK will associate to Horizon Europe, UK organisations can apply for this funding!

Horizon Europe has 3 pillars:

  1. Excellent Science. This pillar contains the European Research Council, Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions and Research Infrastructures.
  2. Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness. Pillar 2 will support research and innovation in six cluster areas: health; culture, creativity and inclusive society; civil security for society; digital, industry and space; climate, energy and mobility; and food, bioeconomy, natural resources, agriculture and environment.
  3. Innovative Europe. The European Innovation Council, European Innovation Ecosystems and European Institute of Innovation and Technology can each be found under Pillar 3.

Our Horizon Europe bid writers can work with your organisation to develop competitive grant applications. We offer the following services:

Planning and outlining roles

Our bid writers collect information from the client, including the roles of the project team and all relevant timeframes. We will use this data to create a formal plan for your Horizon Europe application.

Assembling all documentation and literature

We will collect all the required documentation, comparing the documents against a checklist to ensure all requirements for funding are met. Our team will then organise these documents in the relevant formats and order.

Outlining main objectives and technical work plan

Using the documents and data collected in the planning stage, we will outline the project's main objectives and deliverables. We will create a technical plan that explains the processes involved in the realisation of the project and utilisation of funds.

Writing non-technical aspects to support client work programme

Our team will create a document with the project’s non-technical aspects to complement the technical work programme.

Reviewing and improving the proposal

We will review the proposal to ensure it meets set standards of proposal writing, as well as the criteria used by the European Commission to evaluate proposals.

Completion of administration and submission forms

Finally, we will assist the client with the administration forms that accompany the application and submission of these documents to Horizon Europe.
